Lee Corso will be returning to College GameDay on Saturday morning as the show travels to Bozeman (Mont.). for the big FCS rivalry match between Montana State and Montana.

Chris Fowler shared the happy news via Twitter Friday morning.

“Awesome news! Look at who’s back! He wrote that Mr Corso will be reunited with the @CollegeGameDay gang tomorrow in Bozeman, Montana.” “Hope LC packed his warmest jacket! Seeing him on my TV tomorrow will warm my heart.”

Corso, 87, last appeared on the show on Oct. 22, when GameDay broadcast from Eugene, Ore. ahead of Oregon’s win over UCLA.

Corso missed three weeks of the show due to a health issue. He also missed trips to Texas, Georgia, and Jackson State.

“Lee Corso is still recovering,” host Rece Davies said last weekend , as the show opened in Austin. “We hope that he’s continuing to recover and hope that he’ll be back with us really soon.”

Earlier in the year, Corso missed another pair of Saturday College GameDay appearances after being hospitalized. Corso shared some details about his unidentified health issues and joked that they were due to him disparaging Clemson football on an earlier show.

“I told ya, it was a scary time,” he said . “I was really worried because I went into the hospital, but I was there and a nurse said, “No wonder you are here. You spoke poorly of Clemson last week. That’s why you’re in the hospital.”

“So I’m not saying another bad thing about Clemson ever again.”
