President Biden‘s recruiting the best for a huge honor — Jon Batiste will perform at the administration’s very first White House state Dinner.

The black-tie affair will go down Thursday … and the night is all about putting a spotlight on the United States’ tight relationship with France, as well as honoring French President Emmanuel Macron.

Sure, Macron will feel at home with Batiste’s name… but he is also the current holder for the Grammy Award for Album Of The Year, so it’s fitting that he’s being selected for this gig.

Performing at the WH can be a big undertaking… and Jon Batiste is one of the special entertainers who will be performing there.

Some past celebs to perform for the Prez include Whitney Houston, Elton John and Mary J. Blige … just to name a few.

A spokesperson for the First Ladies, Jon, sang her praises. She said… “An artist that transcends generations, Jon Batiste’s music inspires people and brings them together. “

JB may not be a huge Billboard hitmaker but he’s a decorated Jack-of-all-trades — recording artist and bandleader, film composers, museum creative director, and scion to New Orleans musical royalty.

Oh yeah, he won 5 Grammys this year, including the big one for “We Are”.

You’re welcome, Macron! Remember, we coulda given you Tekashi 6ix9ine.
