A drag queen is one the heroes who saved untold numbers of lives after a gunman opened fired at a Colorado gay nightclub… stomping on him with her high heels.
Army vet Richard Fierro — who’d gone to Club Q in Colorado Springs with his family Saturday — pounced on suspected shooter Anderson Lee Aldrich when the bullets started to fly … this according to the NY Times.
Fierro knew the drill — subdue, disarm. He screamed for help as he struggled to hold Aldrich down on the ground.
That was when a drag queen from the club ran over to the shooter and began to beat him with her high heels. Fierro was able to see the path ahead and beat Aldrich with his gun, repeatedly punching him in the face.
Fierro said to the NYT that he believed he had killed him.
Cops came in and took Aldrich into police custody. Fierro was also taken into police custody amid chaos, but was released just an hour later. He’s a hero according to all accounts.
And there’s a tragic twist … Fierro’s daughter’s boyfriend Raymond Green Vance, was killed in the massacre.
