Canes Make Final 6 for Miami Central’s Rueben Bain, Jr.
As it stands heading into Week 7, the Miami Hurricanes are No. 29 in the nation with 15 sacks. This is a good start, but the Canes need to improve in order to reach the elite level Mario Cristobal has set for them.
To make that happen, more talent must be brought in. One of those players is Rueben Baiin, Jr ., an elite edge rusher from Miami (Fla.). He’s a player that’s down in Miami, Alabama, Auburn Louisville, Florida State and Oklahoma.
He’s a proven pass rusher with 29.5 sacks during his junior season alone. He has the proverbial knack of getting in the backfield and creating sacks, no matter what the situation.

His hand use, first-step explosiveness, and sheer determination make him a candidate to play early at the Power 5 level, even if it is just during obvious passing downs. Bain could be a long-term starter for any school that brings him in to its football program.
As a Miami defensive end, Bain would be a great addition to the team.
The Hurricanes already received a commitment from Jayden Wayne, a player that can come after the passer or drop back and play in space. Bain and him would make a great 1-2 punch for Miami.
Additionally, he’s not yet taken his official visit to Coral Gables and also went to see multiple Miami home games. The Canes seem to be in a good position to sign Bain on December’s National Signing Day.
